JetBlue's Customer Bill of Rights provides automatic compensation credits for controllable delays: $50 for 1–1:59h, $100 for 2–2:59h, $150 for 3–3:59h, and $200 for 4h+ or overnight delays. If you haven't received these automatically, you can claim them through JetBlue's help center.

If JetBlue involuntarily bumps you from an oversold flight, DOT mandates cash compensation of up to $1,950 depending on your delay to the destination.
EU261 / UK261 may also apply
If your JetBlue flight departed from an EU or UK airport, EU261 or UK261 entitles you to up to €600 / £520 per passenger for delays of 3+ hours — regardless of the reason, with limited exceptions for extraordinary circumstances.

What is JetBlue's Customer Bill of Rights?
JetBlue's Customer Bill of Rights (CBoR) is a voluntary commitment to compensate passengers for controllable delays. For delays within JetBlue's control: $50 for 1–1:59h delay, $100 for 2–2:59h, $150 for 3–3:59h, and $200 for delays of 4 hours or more or overnight cancellations. These are issued as travel credits unless you request a cash refund.
How long do JetBlue refunds take?
JetBlue is required to process refunds within 7 business days for card payments and 20 days for other payment methods. CBoR credits are typically applied automatically within 5–7 business days after the qualifying flight. If you haven't received either within those windows, TravelStacks can follow up.
What if JetBlue offers TrueBlue points or a credit instead of cash?
For a DOT-qualifying cancellation or significant delay, JetBlue must refund you to your original payment method if you request it — TrueBlue points or travel credits do not satisfy the DOT refund obligation. You can reject the credit and formally request cash. TravelStacks handles this.
Can I get EU261 compensation on a JetBlue flight?
EU261 applies to JetBlue flights departing from EU airports, including JetBlue's transatlantic routes to/from London and Amsterdam. If your JetBlue flight departed from an EU or UK airport and was delayed 3+ hours or canceled, you may be entitled to up to €600 or £520 per passenger under EU261 or UK261.
What is JetBlue's denied boarding compensation?
If JetBlue involuntarily bumps you from an oversold flight, DOT mandates cash compensation of up to $1,950 depending on your delay to your destination. JetBlue must also rebook you on the next available flight at no extra charge. This is separate from the CBoR credits.
My JetBlue flight was delayed but I didn't get a CBoR credit automatically. What do I do?
If your delay was controllable (not weather or air traffic control) and you didn't receive an automatic CBoR credit, you can claim it through jetblue.com/help. Select your flight and request the applicable credit. TravelStacks can submit this request and follow up if JetBlue doesn't respond.
